The Prayers of One Righteous Man
In Genesis 18, as the two angels walk on to destroy Sodom, Abraham intercedes for the righteous people in Sodom, begging God to spare the city if just ten righteous people left in it. God agrees. A very small number of righteous people could have saved Sodom that day. A few righteous people can change the fate of a nation. One person can change the world (Noah, Moses, Abraham…). Your prayers make a difference to God. You can change His mind, even when you can do nothing else. You can intercede, stand it the gap, for the people who don’t know they angels are coming. And the angels are coming.
