Work Your Garden
“Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man something, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.” - Galatians 6:7-8 (KJV). When we sow to the Spirit we will reap good things, but we have to keep at it. We have to labor and wait. Bad things (weeds) don’t require cultivation and effort. They spring up of themselves. You have to tend the spiritual things. Ask yourself, “What can I work on this week? What can I add to the quality of my Christian life this week?” We all have something we can work on. We all have something we can improve upon.
